CDA-Projects was founded in 2009 and is located in Mısır Apartment, which is centrally located on İstiklal Street, cultural center of Istanbul. CDA-Projects works in cooperation with two other spaces managed by the same team in the same building; GaleriZilberman and Kat1, offering 500 m² exhibition space in total, as well as providing an infrastructure for discursive practices and meetings. CDA-Projects is committed to support emerging artists from Turkey. The gallery also represents internationally acclaimed Turkish and international artists with outstanding works.

CDA-Projects develops projects to support young artists from Turkey and nurture dialogue on new tendencies in contemporary art worldwide. The gallery has been organizing the Young Fresh Different every year through an open call since 2010, a selection for young artists from Turkey, which results in an exhibition in Galeri Zilberman and CDA-Projects venues. CDA-Projects GRANT for Artistic Research and Production, offering 10,000 Euros for artistic research projects and resulting in a publication, has been established in 2011.
