CIVAN ÖZKANOGLU
Civan Özkanoglu, born in Adana, Turkey (1983) is a multi-disciplinary artist that works In Photography and Printmaking. Özkanoglu received his BA for Public Administration at The Uludag University, Turkey; studied Printmaking at The National Academy School of Fine Arts, New York. He is a self-taught artist on photography. Ozkanoglu’s first series of photographs 'Çoktular Ama Hiç Yoktular' were exhibited both at UFAT 1.Photography Days, Bursa and IFSAK1.Young Photographers Festival, Istanbul in 2005. His photography and printmaking works have been exhibited internationally, including the National Academy Museum in New York; The 1st International Istanbul Biennial of Photography, Turkey; 440 Gallery, Brooklyn and District Fine Art Gallery, Washington, D.C.
He currently lives and works in New York.
