COMPLEXION

My paintings are the reflections of my own sensations and dreams. As a female artist, my visual image on my canvases on which I reflect all of my moods is women, through which my internal being becomes alive. These figures which I paint in a realist style are commendations sometimes to what is idealist, pure and clear, and sometimes to the woman who is a dreamer or who is only far away( unreachable). In my paintings, the portrait of the modern woman that is distant from the rhythm of the real life also gets distant from time because it reflects the spirituality of the woman. The body which gets distant from time also gets detached from the location within the black background and perception turns only to the light that is concealed inside the body, to the spirituality. These figures that I have chosen intuitively turn into an image that is sometimes reliable, relieving and sometimes into an image that is bothersome. Whatever dream these images turn into; purity, eroticism, fear, death, my pursuit is to reflect it with its whole beauty.
