MUSTAFA SEKBAN 2010
06/05/2010 - 27/05/2010Mustafa Sekban
One of rare artists who uses his brush in the hyperrealist style in the Turkish art scenes, Mustafa Sekban, with his new exhibition dedicated to Istanbul will be exposed between 6 and 29th of May at Casa Dell’Arte Gallery.
On his canvases the artist focuses on nature and human figure that is one of the fundamental elements of the continuous and basic nature. For his last exhibition he chose Istanbul as an indispensable muse. The passion he has for Istanbul, which is a coastal town, paved the way for him to inevitably convey the laborer sea people of this wonderful city to the canvas. For the Artist who uses a human-focused brush, the human who is in the course of action is beautiful and for this reason is worth to be drawn. The blue of Istanbul, which passes from tone to tone, fishermen, the little boats that swing on the water, Bosphorus coasts under the water and the landscapes of the city… With all of them Mustafa Sekban reminds us the beauties that we do not get around to have a look in our everyday life. His paintings which get registered to the records of the future as he has intensively been drawing Istanbul in the last ten years will in time turn into aesthetical documents each and will live forever.
