Although the Resul Aytemür painting expression seems as if it continues the classical figure tradition, it has an important characteristic which separates itself from the tradition. In the world painting tradition, in the Classical Middle Ages and Renaissance painting, the artists had to comply firstly with the “exemplum” rather than the nature or the external reality. The next step was the obligation to be in harmony with the reality. In Resul Aytemür painting expression, we see the collapse of these priorities; the artist’s confrontation with the reality without any prejudice and the action of his dominating on the reality through the art piece. Dürer says “Firstly there exists the eye which sees, secondly the object that is being seen and thirdly the relationship that exists in between the eye and the object.” The aesthetical image level that Resul Aytemür aesthetic expression conveys us emphasizes the ability of an artist to be able to turn into the observed section of a phenomenon at a certain moment of time, with a certain angle of viewpoint through a certain perception of the artist...
